Forming new habits

A lot of people don’t like change, but changing your habits can be easier than you might think. Instead of thinking about what you have to give up, which just leaves you feeling deprived, think about your new habit as being what you get to have.

For example, if you’re trying to lose weight so that you fit into your Christmas party dress think about your new habit as eating more vegetables, drinking more water, and joining that women’s walking group that you’ve been meaning to try.

I know that I need to add more movement into my week, so I’m definitely joining that walking group. I’ll let you know how I get on.
